It's no joke that 2020 was a different and extremely challenging year to what we're used to in our normal lives. There was so much we had to change and get used to. Wearing masks, not just in an operating room or dental practice but wherever we go out to. People we're only allowed to see on video calls and not in-person. Churches had to close. Borders we're not allowed to cross. And of course, Christmas Eve Dinner with the family on an online call and not gathered around the table.
We had a new baby in our little family. Jaxon Stephen Litchfield was born on September 4, 2020. The little man is as cute as a button. With the new Covid-19 restrictions which started in November, we are not allowed to travel over our health borders. This means we're Coastal Health and we're not allowed to travel for non-essentials to Fraser Health. Oh, that is the most difficult thing! Don't the Parlement think about a new granny who misses seeing and visiting with her new grandbaby? Obviously travelling to Maple Ridge is non-essential, but it is extremely essential to me! I hope you were able to see you're loved ones over Christmas and during the beginning of this year.
Thank you for your support since I've started this website. It's been a year of new experiences and opportunities for me. And definitely, lots of baking, cooking and trying out new recipes. I'm trying to make more videos, although it's still a challenge to talk to a camera, but hey, I'm trying.
May this year, 2021, be a blessing to you in an abundance of love, peace, grace, hope, joy and lots of baking and cooking together with me.
